Our Fees
All CURIOUS KIDS' Child Care fees must be pre-arranged at the time of registration, for all programs, including Full-Day 3 and 4-year-olds Preschool and After School Child Care Programs, and Summer Camps. There will be a yearly $30.00 registration/administrative fee, non-refundable, for Preschool and After School Child Care Programs, due at the time of Registration.

Pre-School Fees
​Program Options: 3 & 4 years old at Lincoln, Townsview and Meduxnekeag sites.
​As an Early Childhood Designated Centre, we are required to establish fees based on the "Market Fee Threshold".
Full Day 3 & 4-Year-Old Program
Offer at the Lincoln, Townsview and Meduxnekeag sites. The cost is $29.68/day or $140.00/week.
Morning Pre-School Program
Curious Kids offers a flexible morning preschool program where parents can choose how many mornings a week their child comes to pre-school. Parents are encouraged to enroll their child for at least two mornings to get the full experience.

Full Day After-School Fees

Please Note: Parents registering multiple children full-time can inquire about reduced rates for the second and third children. Reduced rates may be determined based on needs expressed by parents.
Lincoln
After School runs Monday -Thursday 1:30-5:30 and Friday 11:30-5:30. The fee is $88.00/week; which includes scheduled school closure days.
Townsview
After-School runs Monday - Friday 2:00-5:30. The fee is $83.00/week; which includes scheduled school closure days.
Meduxnekeag
After-School runs Monday - Friday 3:00-5:30. The fee is $83.00/week; which includes scheduled school closure days.
CURIOUS KIDS will be open during Christmas Break and March Break, dependent on need, at a fee of $30.00/day or $140/week.
Part-Time Fee
All part-time spots are space dependent.
Lincoln
Lincoln offers part-time after-school care Monday-Thursday from 1:30-5:30 pm at a cost of $19.00/afternoon. Part-time care is also provided on Fridays from 11:30 am-5:30 pm and the fee is $24.00/afternoon.
Townsview
Part-Time after-school care is offered at Townsview Monday-Friday from 2:00-5:30 pm at a cost of $19.00/afternoon.
Meduxnekeag
Monday - Friday from 3:00-5:30 pm part-time after-school care is provided for $19.00/afternoon.
Before School Care
If your child needs care before school starts we offer before-school care at all of our locations for $5.00/morning. Before school care starts at 7:30 am and children go to school right from our classroom.
Activity Hour
A convenient option for families that require care for the first hour after school if their child needs to wait to catch a late bus or be picked up with an older sibling at their dismissal time. This is for children in grades K-2 and space availability is based on the number of K-2 children registered in the program at any given time. Activity hour spaces are not guaranteed for the entire school year and cost $5.00/day.
Christmas, March Break, and Summer Camps
CURIOUS KIDS Child Care programs will operate, dependent on need/interest, during Christmas Break at a cost of $30.00/day and during March Break at a cost of $29.68/day or $140.00/week.
Summer Camps at Lincoln cost $140/week. A parent survey will be conducted to determine the need/interest for camps during the summer months. The number of weeks camp is offered will be based on survey results.

Billing
Parents/guardians have the option of paying once a month or twice a month, in advance of childcare being provided. All CURIOUS KIDS Child Care payments will be calculated using the ‘equalized billing method’, September to December, and January to June, (weekly fee, by the number of weeks, divided by the number of payments).

Parents that receive Financial Assistance through the N.B. Day Care Assistance Program or the Designated Centre-Parent Subsidy must have a copy of their Notification for registration or be prepared to pay by e-transfer until Notification is received.
How To Pay
All payments will be accepted in the form of an e-transfer, to curiuskids2016@gmail.com. We ask that you include your child’s name on your e-transfer. Receipts will be issued yearly for all Curious Kids' program payments.
If fees are more than one week in arrears, childcare services will be suspended until fees are paid in full or a payment plan arrangement has been made with Angela Prime. Space in the program may not be guaranteed.

To withdraw from CURIOUS KIDS, we require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
School Closure Days and Storm Days
Regular Payments are required for all school closure days including, Holidays and storm days.

Our intent is that regular rates will still apply. Our reasoning behind this decision is as follows:
1] We offer quality, affordable childcare to our families at very reasonable rates.
2] We do not charge any additional fees for Professional Learning/Parent-Teacher Interview days.
3] We do not charge parents to hold their spots over Christmas Break, March Break, or Summer Break and parents are required to only pay for the days they need during these times.
Storm Day Credits
After School and Full Day 3 and 4-Year-Olds:
We do however appreciate that childcare is costly for parents and our goal at Curious Kids is to be fair and considerate to our families. Therefore, if there are more than 8 storm days, we will issue a credit based on registered days to After School and full-day Preschool parents for all storm days that occur after 8 storm days, up to a maximum of one week which will be applied during the last payment of enrollment for the school year.

Please note that we will not issue Pre-School storm day credits as our policy clearly states that Preschool programs do not operate on days when there is no school due to the fact that we provide full-day childcare for after-schoolers and full-day 3 and 4-year-old participants. Preschool is not considered a childcare program.
